What is the ultimate goal of open collaboration?
Perhaps it is collective enlightenment.
To get to individual enlightenment there are all sorts of practices we can follow on our own.
To get to collective enlightenment requires practices we follow together. The structure and forms of open collaboration can be those practices.
The collective oneness is fluid, emergent, spontaneous, not dependent on fake hierarchies, non-owned. So finding ways our organizations and projects can begin to take on those kind of properties is a way back to that collective oneness.
